Position Purpose:
The Business Process Lead will lead strategic projects to drive continuous improvement and support key operational processes for retail workforce management and analytics within the Canadian division. The successful candidate will demonstrate competency in business analysis, product management, problem solving, project management, process mapping and managing stakeholder expectations. The candidate will be required to coordinate with internal and external partners to analyze business needs and provide insights and recommendation on process improvement opportunities and industry trends in retail operations.
Position Responsibilities:
- Lead and implement broad-scale workforce projects - develop and maintain project management materials (scoping document, project milestones, work breakdown structures, status reports, project dashboards, etc..) and collaborate with stakeholders to drive project delivery
- Lead stakeholder meetings and communicates strategy and priorities to achieve team’s objectives and goals to stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal / external stakeholder to develop IT solutions using best in class technologies and manage key phases of the project management lifecycle (e.g., design, UAT, pilot launch) Validates current processes, aligns stakeholders on future state processes and creates user stories with business stakeholders, UX and IT partners
- Present complex concepts by creating effective visualizations that drive insights and recommendations to influence business partners and senior leaders
- Create engaging stories through interactive dashboards with data visualization tools like Tableau, bringing key performance indicators (KPIs) to life
- Design, build and maintain ETL workflows to support critical business operations
- Develop and implement change management strategies with cross functional partners to drive successful project rollout and adoption
Experience/Knowledge Required:
- Background in either Industrial Engineering, Business,Finance Math, Computer Science or similar
- At least 4 years experience in a similar project lead role
- Demonstrated ability to tackle business problems that are ambiguous in nature
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks concurrently
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated experience with business intelligence reporting tools (Tableau preferred) and data analytics workflows (Python, SQL, BigQuery, SAS, Alteryx)
- Must be comfortable operating independently and marshaling resources to get things done
- Excellent facilitator who can drive engagement within their team and among stakeholders
- Experience with implementing change management techniques and familiar with best practices
- Passionate about their self-improvement and career development
- Demonstrated ability to lead full lifecycle product development in an agile environment.
- An enthusiastic team player who values engaging and collaborating with the broader team and fostering a positive organizational culture.
- Strong communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership teams.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Visio, JIRA and Power Point
- Strong work ethic and sense of responsibility and confidentiality
- Bilingual (English/French) an asset
