Program Test Lead, Mainframe Upgrade – Quality Engineering · Must Have o At least 12+ years of work experience in Quality Engineering (Testing) in IT o Canadian Banking domain experience o Leading and managing testing large scale, complex Mainframe applications and migration / upgrade projects o Coordinating with Product, Infrastructure, Technical teams, Stakeholders, Executives, etc. o Working in a matrix organization o Stakeholder management across multiple areas such as Business, Infrastructure, Network, IT Custodians, Development, etc. · Required Skills o In-depth knowledge in testing Mainframe related applications using Cobol, DB2, SQL, JCL, VSAM, LPAR, CICS, Job schedulers such as Control-D/M, CA7; Banking applications o Experience in testing various Mainframe application screens o Experience in strategizing Mainframe (hardware) upgrade and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) testing o Exposure to Unix/Linux, Shell scripting o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills o Proactive in identifying gaps and raising issues o Knowledge in GUI/Web application testing · Job description o Identify, prepare and plan the Test strategy/approach to test business, infrastructure and batch processing applications during a Mainframe Upgrade o Create and maintain QE documentation o Coordinate, perform or lead UAT, Business and E2E testing activities o Provide support for Performance testing o Communicate and plan with development teams and stakeholders o Track & plan QE testing progress and provide analysis & metrics on the QE effort o Log and track detailed product defects and support the RCA identification o Coach and provide mentorship to the testing team, and not afraid to get hands dirty o Be the single point of contact for all Testing related activities #J-18808-Ljbffr
