Director of Quality Assurance

This is an exciting new role with an industry-leading food company which manufactures and supplies their product range globally.
They now seek to hire a talented Director of QA with extensive BRC management, product specifications, regulatory and GMP experience to lead their QA function.
Key Responsibilities will Include:
- Ensuring compliance with product specifications, labeling, and regulatory standards
- Overseeing and implementing HACCP, GMP, and other food safety and quality programs for the plant.
- Providing oversight for the development of robust manufacturing control processes and related reports use throughout the plant.
- Managing customer complaint investigations, resolution and tracking.
- Performing gap analysis on all Food Safety and Quality processes and procedures.
- Training, mentoring, and supervising QA Management at various locations.
- Managing the hold and release program
- Establishing finished goods quality standards, monitor down-graded product and work with manufacturing to reduce them to appropriate levels.
- You will work closely with R&D, Operations and Logistics to maintain the highest levels of product safety and quality across the manufacturing and supply chain process.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Degree (BA) in Food Science or related required.
- Minimum 10+ years experience as a QA Manager and/or Director of QA in the food manufacturing sector.
- Expertise with CFIA, SQF and BRC quality programs.
- Clean drivers abstract and valid passport required.
- Bi lingual French required.
