Overview The Regional Service Manager is responsible for developing and managing the service business for the company. This role ensures the highest level of customer satisfaction by overseeing the implementation, support, and continuous improvement of service offerings. The Manager will drive operational efficiency, team development, and strategic growth while maintaining alignment with the company's goals and objectives. Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute a regional services strategy that aligns with global objectives, ensuring service excellence and customer satisfaction. Service Business Development: Expand and enhance service offerings, identifying new business opportunities and driving growth. Service Delivery Management: Oversee the delivery of professional services, customer support, and managed services, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Operational Excellence: Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance service quality, operational efficiency and scalability. Levering the Commercial Structure of Company: Utilize existing commercial networks and infrastructure to drive service business growth and customer engagement. Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance for the regional services organization in collaboration with the Managing Director, ensuring cost control and profitability. Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of service professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and marketing, to drive service innovation and customer success. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all service operations adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices. Requirements You should be able to understand Generation, Transmission and Distribution Utilities set up and operations. Technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles related to insulators, insulation coordination and standards applicable. Comfortable with customer interactions and sales channels. Produce technical and commercial documentation. Collect, analyze and compare data to deliver key data for decision making processes. Be a team player, visionary, dedicated and self-motivated. Effectively communicate – verbally and written. Have a relentless positive attitude. Comply with all company policies with high level of integrity. Produce results while working independently. Collaborate across multi-cultural team. Get buy-in without formal authority across multiple departments. Multitask under pressure and deliver the expected results. Demonstrate a high level of self-initiative and resourcefulness to define and create winning strategies. Achieve performance objectives with minimal supervision. Self-started and creative to define strategies to win. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in service delivery, professional services, or operations leadership, with at least 5 years in a mid to senior management role. Proven track record of managing large service delivery organizations with a focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving profitability. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge and experience of generation, transmission, and distribution utilities set up and operations, as well as technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles related to insulators, insulations coordination and standards applicable, would be a plus. Ability to travel as needed within North America.
