Construction Manager Job Category: Construction Manager Job Type: Full Time Job Location: Winnipeg, NB Overview Wesbell is seeking a Construction Manager in Winnipeg, NB. The role plays a key part in establishing and growing our new Winnipeg branch by setting up operations, building crews, and managing staff as the location expands. This role also oversees crews in the construction of cellular sites—both tower and rooftop—ensuring safety, high-quality work, and overall project profitability. Responsibilities Bring strong business acumen to help establish and grow the new Winnipeg branch Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion Lead the setup and day‑to‑day operations of the Winnipeg location Review the project in depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs Enforce and track budgets Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors Select tools, materials, and equipment Review the work progress daily Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones Analyze, manage and mitigate risks Ensure quality construction standards and proper construction techniques are used Any other duties that may be assigned Education & Training BS degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or related field 5 years minimum experience as a foreman in wireless construction Management training courses an asset Requirements & Experience Proven working experience in construction management Advanced knowledge of construction management processes and methods Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards Understanding of all facets of the construction process Familiarity with construction management software packages Competent in conflict and crisis management Leadership and human resources management skills Excellent time and project management skills Problem‑solving and problem‑avoidance skills Wesbell welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
