In this role, you will be responsible for all plant floor-related automation control systems, supporting daily activities, implementing system changes in partnership with equipment vendors, and managing system standards and incident management.
Shift (Onsite): Monday - Thursday | 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
Role/Responsibilities:
- Support manufacturing in achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in maintenance and operations.
- Implement best practices and ensure compliance in execution.
- Coach and train manufacturing personnel to enhance their expertise.
- Improve and sustain the uptime of designated machine centers through preventative and continual maintenance.
- Champion product quality, workmanship methods, and processes to meet internal and customer requirements.
- Ensure adherence to Element5 safety policies, manufacturing procedures, and workplace policies.
- Provide input to management for cost reduction, work simplification, scheduling, and other continuous improvement measures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in controls systems; manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Engineering or Science with a technical background preferred.
- Proficiency in Siemens Control Systems is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership abilities and experience coaching teams.
- Strong attention to detail and integrity.
Working Conditions:
- Physical Effort: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Physical Environment: Exposure to dust and noise.
- Sensory Attention: Required for various tasks.
