Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Controls Specialist to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining, designing, developing, and continuously improving our equipment and processes to ensure optimal performance and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, including electrical controls, mechanical systems, and automation systems.
  • Design and Development: Design and develop new equipment and processes to improve efficiency and quality, and implement changes to existing systems.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to reduce downtime, increase productivity, and improve overall quality.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with production team members to identify and resolve issues, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain technical expertise in electrical controls, automation systems, and mechanical systems, and stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: Completion of an Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technician course or equivalent from a recognized college program.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical controls, automation systems, or mechanical systems maintenance and repair.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and effective communication and collaboration skills.
