Job Summary

Thomson Foods Inc is seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of specialty foods, including bread, pastries, and desserts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
  • Machinery Operation: Operate machinery as needed.
  • Special Orders: Prepare special orders as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work Setting: Relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
