YOUR ROLE

As the Group Benefits Administrator you will play a critical role in supporting both the sales and client service area of the business, by providing high level analytical support to both areas. This would include support with group renewals, benefit plan marketings and general administration support, as required.


YOUR IMPACT

  • Work alongside the Senior Analyst and go through next 90 days of renewals and support on anything outstanding or requiring immediate attention.
  • Work with Senior Analyst to review all current / upcoming marketings and support on anything outstanding or requiring immediate attention.
  • Ensure marketings are logged accurately and tended to, ensuring they are completed in efficient manner.
  • Develop a consistent quarterly claims report tracker to ensure all clients receive a claims usage report every financial quarter. This should be monthly for ASO clients
  • All written and verbal correspondence with team, carriers and clients is to be acknowledged within 1 business day.


WHAT TO EXPECT

Client Claims Reporting:

  • Ensure quarterly claims reports are being prepared and delivered to each client.
  • Ensure monthly ASO claims reports are being prepared and delivered to each client.


Client Renewals:

  • Support primary renewal Analyst with renewal responsibilities such as: intake renewal review, obtain/download required insurance carrier reports for renewal, enter preliminary renewal data.
  • Identify any discrepancies/errors with the renewals
  • Assist with compiling the final report which will be shared with the lead Group Benefits Consultant, and then shared with the client.
  • Ensure proper tracking of the renewal on internal tracking sheets.


Client & Prospect Marketings:

  • Assist with reviewing the intake data required to process the marketing.
  • Create the final group benefits marketing specifications and then send to the invited insurance carriers.
  • Analyze the quotes received and note any deviations from current or requested plan design.
  • Create marketing report which is then to be shared with the lead Group Benefit Consultant, and will be presented in the client marketing meeting.


Client Service Support:

  • Provide support the Account Managers with internal document assistance, creation of presentation slide decks, communication pieces etc., to ensure they can prioritize their client facing responsibilities.


THIS IS YOU

  • 2-5 years experience in the group benefit industry
  • LLQP or willingness to obtain
  • GBA or CEBS would be an asset but not required
  • You have keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • You have strong organizational skills and ability to work both individually and as part of a collaborative team
  • You have exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • You have intermediate experience and knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowePoint, Outlook and SharePoint)
  • You have the ability to maintain complete confidentiality
