Hey there We're Blanka, a Vancouver-based tech company shaking up the e-commerce and beauty world. Our cutting-edge platform empowers entrepreneurs, salons, and spas to launch their own branded product lines in minutes. We're on the hunt for a relationship-driven, beauty-obsessed Account Executive to help grow our wholesale business by converting inbound leads and building a strong outbound pipeline with salons and spas.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As our Account Executive, you'll be responsible for driving growth of Blanka's wholesale channel. You'll manage a high volume of inbound leads from salons and spas, convert them into active wholesale accounts, and build an outbound engine to expand our market presence. You'll own the full sales cycle, from discovery and product education to sampling, follow-up, closing, and early account nurturing.

This is a hands-on, relationship-focused role for someone who loves being in front of customers, understands how salons and spas operate, and thrives in a mix of structured and scrappy environments. You are relentlessly resourceful: you don't take no for an answer, you follow up consistently, and you're willing to call, text, email, and even connect via social media to move opportunities forward. You'll help shape our sales processes, experiment with new outreach strategies, and represent Blanka as the go-to partner for premium private-label beauty products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Inbound Lead Conversion:

Engage, qualify, and convert inbound salon and spa leads into active wholesale accounts. Proactively follow up with leads by calling, texting, emailing, and using social media to stay top of mind and drive conversations forward.
- Outbound Sales:

Build and execute a proactive outreach strategy via email, phone, social, and in-person to grow your pipeline and territory.
- Relationship Building:

Develop strong, trust-based connections with salon and spa owners, managers, and buyers.
- Product Education:

Showcase Blanka's products, sampling programs, and private-label solutions through consultative selling.
- Sales Cycle Ownership:

Manage the full sales cycle end-to-end, from first contact to onboarding.
- Pipeline & Forecasting:

Maintain an organized, up-to-date pipeline and provide accurate forecasting using HubSpot.
- Market Development:

Attend beauty events, tradeshows, and local industry gatherings to grow brand awareness.
- Collaboration:

Work closely with Customer Success, Product, and Operations teams to ensure smooth post-sale experiences.
- Insights & Feedback:

Bring real-time market insights back to the team to inform product, inventory, and sales strategies.

  • You're organized and disciplined with CRM usage and follow-ups.
  • You're not afraid of field work: visiting salons, doing demos, and meeting owners face-to-face energizes you.
  • You bring ideas for how to grow a territory and you take initiative without waiting for someone to hand you a playbook.
  • You can handle objections gracefully and know how to move deals forward with confidence.
  • You're adaptable, fast-moving, and comfortable thriving in a scrappy startup environment.
  • You love learning, welcome feedback, and are always working to level up your craft.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally in spoken and written English.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3–5+ years in sales, account management, inbound/outbound, or business development.
  • Background in salons, spas, or beauty is a strong asset.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience with CRM tools and pipeline management.
  • Comfortable with field work and travel.
  • Motivated, curious, and highly proactive.

  • The On Target Earnings (OTE) ranges from $85,000 - $105,000 CAD annually (inclusive of commission)
