Role Description
This is a full-time role for an
Account Executive
at Aterio, based in Vancouver, BC, with a hybrid work model.
The Account Executive will be responsible for identifying prospective companies and key decision-makers, generating and managing sales opportunities, and supporting the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract execution.
This role requires strong prospecting skills, disciplined follow-up, and close collaboration with product and research teams to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research target companies, industries, and decision-makers to generate qualified sales opportunities
- Execute outbound prospecting via email, phone, and LinkedIn to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, including discovery calls, product demos, proposals, and contract follow-ups
- Maintain accurate CRM records to ensure visibility into pipeline, forecasting, and sales performance
- Collaborate with leadership on go-to-market strategies, messaging, and target account lists
- Work closely with product and research teams to align customer needs with Aterio's offerings
- Contribute to customer insights, case studies, and feedback that inform product development
- Represent Aterio in meetings, conferences, and industry events as needed
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
, preferably in B2B or SaaS - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close new business
- Experience managing multiple opportunities simultaneously in a structured sales process
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales engagement platforms
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience selling data, SaaS, or market intelligence products is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field is an asset
Compensation Range
- OTE:
$70,000–$90,000 CAD depending on experience - Equity:
Stock option package - Hybrid work environment (3 to 4 days per week in our Vancouver office)
- Flexibility for remote work 2 days per week
- Opportunity to directly shape the direction of a fast-growing data intelligence company
