Our client, a thriving boutique family law firm located in the north end of Toronto is growing They are looking for a bright energetic Law Clerk to join its friendly team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of recent experience in an Ontario family law office and is eager to learn and develop their career.
This client is looking to hire a number of law clerks because of growth
Duties & Responsibilities:
Meet with and interview clients;
Prepare or Draft - Pleadings, Agreements, Financial Statements, Affidavits, Orders and Continuing Records
Proficiency in DivorceMate and PCLaw
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
A professional demeanour;
Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task;
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
A keen eye for detail;
Completion of a Law Clerk program or Paralegal Certification with courses completed in Family Law;
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
