We are looking for a
Accounts Payable Clerk
to join our Corporate-
Finance
team in Calgary, AB. Reporting to the
Accounts Payable Manager
, you will be a member of the corporate accounting team, responsible for the processing and reconciliation of all accounts payable for residential operations across Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate, timely and details processing of the accounts payable process;
  • Review invoices for authorization of expenditures and accurate recording to proper cost or general ledger accounts;
  • Responsible for quality customer service of vendors and internal clients;
  • Reconcile transactions and vendor statements to ensure accuracy
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Previous education or combination of experience in accounting or finance is considered an asset;
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and Word is required;
  • Strong and proven attention to detail;
  • Proven organizational skills, with an ability to work well under with high volumes under hard deadlines;
  • Strong team player and exceptional communication skills for training and team leadership;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills combined with the ability to interact effectively with senior management;
  • Proven ability to work independently and effectively with minimal supervision.
