Are you passionate about pets and social media? Do you love making reels, helping customers, and being part of a team that truly cares about animals? Bosley's by Pet Valu in Richmond is looking for an in-person team member who can lead our local Instagram and TikTok presence while also acting as a Keyholder in the store.

Your Role

As a dual-role Digital Marketing Specialist + Keyholder, you'll help run our in-store operations while managing our local digital presence. This job is 100% in-person, based at our Richmond location, and requires hands-on interaction with customers, pets, and our team daily.

Digital Marketing Responsibilities

  • Create, film, and edit reels, stories, and videos for Instagram and TikTok
  • Design engaging content and promotional graphics using Canva
  • Capture real in-store moments to showcase products, pets, and staff
  • Promote events, campaigns, and new arrivals to build local awareness
  • Post consistently and track engagement metrics
  • Respond to community comments and messages to maintain strong local connections

Keyholder Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in finding the best products for their pets
  • Offer knowledgeable advice on animal care, nutrition, and grooming
  • Trim pet nails (if experienced or willing to learn)
  • Operate the POS system and handle payments accurately
  • Keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Open and close the store as needed
  • Support team goals and collaborate with coworkers
  • Answer customer phone inquiries in a friendly and professional manner

What We're Looking For

  • Must be able to work in-person at our Richmond, BC location
  • Pet industry experience is preferred but not required
  • Skilled in Instagram, TikTok, and Canva
  • Strong customer service, organization, and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with POS systems and cash handling
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
  • Nail trimming or grooming experience is a bonus
  • Comfortable being on camera or filming others for content
