Are you into pets and social media work? Do you enjoy filming short videos, helping customers, and working on a team that cares about animals? Bosley's by Pet Valu in Richmond is hiring an in-person team member who will run our local Instagram and TikTok pages while working as an ACE, our Animal Care Expert.

About the Store

Bosley's by Pet Valu is a neighbourhood pet shop focused on strong service, reliable products, and real support for pet owners. Our Richmond staff wants someone who can support in-store tasks and grow our local digital presence.

Your Position

This role blends digital work with ACE duties. You will create content, assist customers, and support daily operations. This job is fully in-person at our Richmond, BC location.

Digital Work

  • Film and edit short videos for Instagram and TikTok

  • Make simple Canva graphics

  • Capture real store moments with pets, staff, and products

  • Highlight new items, events, and promotions

  • Post on a steady schedule and check basic engagement data

  • Reply to comments and messages to build a local audience

ACE Duties

  • Greet customers and guide them to the right products

  • Share basic advice on food, care, and grooming

  • Trim nails if you have experience or want to learn

  • Use the POS system and handle payments

  • Keep shelves stocked and the store tidy

  • Support store opening and closing routines

  • Work with the team to reach goals

  • Answer customer calls in a helpful way

What You Need

  • Must work in-person at our Richmond, BC store

  • Pet industry background helps but not required

  • Strong skills in Instagram, TikTok, and Canva

  • Strong customer service and communication

  • POS and cash handling experience

  • Able to work weekends and holidays

  • Nail trimming or grooming is a plus

  • Comfortable filming content or being in videos
