Position Overview
Halenda's Fine Foods is seeking a motivated and creative Kitchen Staff member to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring innovative ideas to the kitchen, contribute to the development of new products, and maintain operational efficiency while upholding the highest standards of quality and hygiene. This role requires strong culinary skills, a passion for food innovation, and the ability to work quickly and rationally in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and product concepts that align with Halenda's brand and quality standards.
· Prepare, cook, and present a variety of meat products and menu items efficiently and consistently.
· Ensure all kitchen operations adhere to food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
· Maintain organized and efficient workstations to optimize workflow and productivity.
· Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and minimizing waste.
· Stay updated with culinary trends and industry innovations to bring fresh ideas to the kitchen.
· Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed to foster skill development and teamwork.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance kitchen processes, quality, and product offerings.
Qualifications & Skills
· Proven experience in a professional kitchen or food production environment.
· Strong knowledge of culinary arts, food preparation techniques, and kitchen safety protocols.
· Demonstrated creativity and ability to innovate in recipe and product development.
· Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Knows to function rational stove.
· Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new culinary techniques and processes.
· Food handling and safety certifications are an asset.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
