Full Job Description

Bick Chen Pinto LLP is a full-service, public accounting firm based in Markham, Ontario. In addition to our audit, accounting and tax services, we also provide a wide range of advisory services to our corporate and individual clients.

Our growing Chartered Professional Accounting practice is searching for an experienced staff accountant for a diversified role. The position is suited to a highly motivated individual who is able to communicate effectively with clients, apply common sense, is results driven, has a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

· Preparation of working paper files for compilation and review engagements

· Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns

· Assist with personal and corporate tax planning

· Respond to various queries and requests from clients

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

· Bachelor degree in a related discipline

· 2+ years' experience working in a public accounting firm (CPA firm)

· Working knowledge of Quickbooks, Caseware/Caseview, Cantax/Texprep, MS Office

· Detail oriented, organized and able to meet tight deadlines

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Languages:

English, (Mandarin is an asset)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $51,300.00 per year
