Role Description
The Vice President, Fleet Maintenance position is a full-time on-site role located in New Hamburg, ON. The role involves overseeing all fleet maintenance operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and implementing best practices to maximize efficiency. This includes managing budgets, developing maintenance strategies, analyzing performance metrics, and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration. The role requires leadership and accountability for the administration, sustainability, and continuous improvement of the fleet maintenance program.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills, including experience overseeing teams and supporting staff development.
- Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance operations, equipment diagnostics, and industry safety standards.
- Proficiency in strategic planning, process optimization, and performance metrics evaluation.
- Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial management related to fleet maintenance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
- Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with transportation regulations in Canada and the U.S. is an asset.
- Commitment to innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement in fleet operations.
