We are seeking a reliable and professional Taxi Driver to provide safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on customer satisfaction, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage time effectively. This role offers an opportunity to serve the community while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Duties

  • Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the city or designated area
  • Greet passengers warmly and assist with boarding, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the trip
  • Navigate using GPS or maps to ensure timely arrivals at destinations
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and provide receipts when necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Manage scheduling and coordinate pickups efficiently to optimize service delivery
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
  • Communicate effectively with passengers, providing local information or assistance as needed

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and relevant commercial driving license if required by local regulations
  • Proven experience in driving, preferably in a commercial or taxi setting
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure punctuality and efficient route planning
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns is preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if needed
  • Good communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 – 90 per week
