We are seeking a professional and reliable Taxi Driver to provide safe, efficient, and courteous transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to manage time effectively. This role offers an opportunity to work flexible hours while ensuring passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to various destinations within the city or designated areas
  • Greet passengers warmly and assist with boarding, luggage handling, and seating arrangements as needed
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times to ensure safety and comfort
  • Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during each shift
  • Manage cash transactions accurately, including fare collection and providing change when necessary
  • Keep track of trips, routes, and schedules to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch or customers regarding pick-up locations and estimated arrival times
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold a high standard of customer service at all times

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Proven experience in driving, preferably in commercial or taxi services
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse passenger needs courteously
  • Strong time management skills to ensure punctuality and efficient route planning
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Knowledge of local streets, routes, and traffic patterns preferred
  • Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays if required

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy driving, interacting with people, and providing exceptional service in a dynamic environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60 – 90 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
