Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, showcasing exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service
- Manage staff including hiring, training, and supervising team members
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and improve service quality
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with food preparation as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
Skills
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling
- Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS
- Proven experience in supervising staff within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment
- Experience in interviewing candidates for various restaurant positions
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Previous experience in restaurant management or related roles is highly desirable
- Familiarity with barista duties or hotel operations is a plus
