Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the day or afternoon shift operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves directing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The Restaurant Supervisor will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience while driving operational excellence.

Duties

  • Supervise team members on day or afternoon shift, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Manage the preparation of baked goods, menu items and beverages.
  • Oversee the use of POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling.
  • Encourage staff to follow proper food handling, customer service, and hospitality best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant.
  • Foster a positive team environment that is focused on guest satisfaction.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
  • Conduct end of shift cash management duties, always following safe and secure opening and closing of the restaurant procedures.

Qualifications

  • At least one year experience in restaurant supervision or similar roles within the food industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences and positive team relations.
  • Experience with cash handling and familiarity with POS systems
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
  • Must have own transportation.
  • Restaurant hours of operation is 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Must be available to work 3 pm to 11 pm on a regular basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
