Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service and restaurant management, with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes that exceed our guests' expectations. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing food preparation, and leading a team of culinary professionals in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Develop and execute innovative menu items that reflect current food trends and customer preferences.
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and leadership to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Ensure the quality of dishes before they reach the dining area, maintaining presentation standards.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
- Train new kitchen staff on food handling procedures, equipment usage, and safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience in the food industry, with a focus on food preparation and handling.
- Previous roles in restaurant management or leadership positions within a culinary setting are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and culinary trends.
- Experience in team management and the ability to motivate staff effectively.
- Familiarity with bartending is a plus but not required.
