Baydo Contracting Corporation is hiring a full-time Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Clerk.

Position Purpose

The Bookkeeper / AP Clerk will support the Accounting team by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and maintaining organized, efficient financial records.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process bi-weekly payroll and complete related payroll tasks.
  • Review and enter employee expense reports.
  • Receive and verify invoices for accuracy and enter them into QuickBooks Online.
  • Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end tasks as needed.

Provide general accounting support and complete other duties as required.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of accounting principles is required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience using QuickBooks Online.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Experience with payroll processing is an asset.
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Highly responsible, organized, and detail-oriented.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
