**Accounts Payable Clerk**

**Location**: Richmond, BC

**Job Type**: Full-time, On-site
**Salary Range**: $23-$28 per hour (based on experience)

**About Us**

We are a fast-growing flooring distribution company headquartered in Richmond, BC, serving clients across Western Canada. Our team values professionalism, accuracy, and collaboration. We are looking for a detail-oriented **Accounts Payable Clerk** to join our accounting department and support our day-to-day financial operations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Process vendor invoices and verify supporting documents (POs, packing slips, etc.)
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare weekly payment runs and ensure timely payments
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status
- Assist with month-end closing, accruals, and other accounting duties as required

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

**Work Hours**
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- On-site position at our Richmond head office
