**Hours of work: Full-time**

**Annual salary: $50,000 - $65,000 a year**

**What you'll do**:

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including A/P, A/R, payroll, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with Canadian financial regulations, including tax filings.
- Maintain accurate financial records by verifying and reconciling transactions.
- Collaborate with external auditors to ensure compliance with financial standards.
- Develop and implement financial systems, including a chart of accounts and bookkeeping policies.
- Provide insights into financial forecasts and assist in budgeting.

**What you bring**:

- Proven bookkeeping experience.
- Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping principles and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).
- Experience in payroll processing, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

**Experience**: At least 2 years of bookkeeping or related experience is required.
