**Main responsibilities**:

- Enter data into the computerized accounts payable ERP systems. Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Verify accuracy of invoices by reviewing prices, quantities, discounts and tax extensions, and totals. Match packing slips and purchase orders to invoices.
- Reconcile supplier statements and other accounts as required.
- Resolve terms, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; ensure credit is received for outstanding memos.
- Prepare cheques.
- Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
- File all documentation as required including boxing and storage of files.
- Collect employees’ working hours, for Controller.
- General office duties as requested and assigned.

**Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-year Accounts Payable experience
- Strong bookkeeping skills
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong work ethic, integrity, and a positive attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 18 months

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
