Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in automotive repair, with a focus on providing excellent customer service. This role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. The Automotive Mechanic will work with both hand tools and power tools, and may also be required to perform welding tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using appropriate diagnostic equipment and techniques.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems in vehicles.
  • Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts as necessary for repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle's needs and repair status.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve shop efficiency and quality of service.

Experience

  • Previous experience working as an Automotive Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to automotive repair.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to perform welding tasks is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.

Pay: $23.50-$35.00 per hour
