Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring vehicles meet safety and quality standards. Experience with dealership operations, welding, and schematic interpretation is highly valued. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using hand tools, power tools, and schematics
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
  • Conduct complex repairs including engine overhauls, transmission work, and electrical diagnostics
  • Utilize welding skills for bodywork or structural repairs when necessary
  • Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols during all repair procedures
  • Assist in assembly of vehicle components and parts as needed
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
  • Ensure vehicles are serviced efficiently to meet customer expectations and deadlines
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly

Experience

  • Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques
  • Dealership experience is preferred but not required
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Knowledge of schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical blueprints
  • Experience with welding and structural repairs is a plus
  • Ability to lift heavy components safely and perform heavy lifting tasks regularly
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Prior experience in automotive repair or maintenance roles is essential for success in this position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.75-$43.32 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
