Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
  • Repair and maintain various vehicle systems, including powertrain, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), ensuring all work meets quality standards.
  • Conduct wheel alignments, vehicle maintenance, and auto body repairs with precision using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair techniques.
  • Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
  • Service GM vehicles and other makes with a focus on quality workmanship while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assist in vehicle inspections, including wheel alignment, suspension checks, and engine diagnostics to optimize vehicle performance.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.

Experience

  • Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
  • Familiarity with ADAS technology, vehicle electrical systems, schematics interpretation, and diesel engine repair.
  • Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics equipment and powertrain maintenance.
  • Knowledge of auto body repair techniques and welding skills is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Experience working on GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous but not mandatory.
