Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Prior dealership experience and mechanical knowledge are highly valued for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame straightening
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to complete repairs effectively
  • Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans in accordance with industry standards
  • Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, masking, and priming
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers regarding repair progress

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in automotive repair background preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair techniques
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
  • Experience working with automotive paint and bodywork is a plus
  • Mechanic experience is desirable but not mandatory
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license is preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.12-$39.29 per hour
