RESPONSIBILITES:
- General Repair Services: Perform comprehensive mechanical inspections and repairs, including brake services, exhaust repairs, ball joint replacements, and maintenance work on auction vehicles.
- Routine Maintenance: Carry out oil and fluid changes, tire services, and complete vehicle check-ups. Ensure all maintenance procedures follow proper safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- BPP Safety Inspections: Conduct full body, frame, and damage assessments, along with transmission, differential, and overall powertrain inspections. Complete the required safety checklists to verify all work has been properly performed.
- Frame Inspections: Inspect vehicle undercarriages to identify cracks, bends, structural damage, or frame weaknesses, ensuring the vehicle meets safety and structural integrity standards.
- Shop Operations: Support daily shop duties, including maintaining a clean and organized workspace, pulling vehicles into bays, and performing diagnostic test drives to identify repair needs.
- Strong diagnostic skills, including electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
- Experience with general repairs across all makes and models
- Ability to work on trucks and light-duty commercial vehicles
- Solid understanding of repair procedures, safety standards, and vehicle systems
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 310S License
- High School Diploma or equivalent in education/experience.
- 5+ years of mechanical experience.
- Safety Boots
- Experienced in repair and service of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems and components on a variety of vehicles.
- Proven ability as a team player.
- Above average communication and problem-solving skills with positive professional attitude.
- A self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer skills an asset.
- Valid G driver's license.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
