Position Summary

The Payroll Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for Canadian and U.S. employees. This role maintains payroll and benefits data integrity, supports compliance with federal and provincial/state regulations, and acts as a key liaison between HR, Finance, and external vendors. The Payroll Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering a seamless payroll experience for all Cloud5 employees.

What You'll Do (Essential Responsibilities)
  • Process bi-weekly and/or semi-monthly payrolls accurately and on schedule.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll and benefits records, including new hires, terminations, and status changes.
  • Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, retirement, disability, etc.) and support annual open enrollment activities.
  • Reconcile payroll and benefits accounts; prepare periodic reports for HR and Finance.
  • Respond promptly to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, benefits coverage, and payroll discrepancies.
  • Ensure full compliance with provincial and federal wage, tax, and benefit regulations.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and third-party vendors to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.
  • Support audits, government reporting, and year-end activities (T4s, W-2s, ROEs, etc.).
Other Duties

This role may evolve as Cloud5 continues to grow. Additional payroll or HR-related responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
