Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of Tangerine's AI Enablement and Automation Strategy by identifying, analyzing, and optimizing business processes that can benefit from intelligent automation, digital assistants, and data-driven insights.

The role ensures that business needs are clearly documented, translated into actionable requirements, and delivered in collaboration with technology, data, and AI platform teams, improving efficiency, scalability, and user experience across departments.

All activities are conducted in alignment with Tangerine's governance, compliance, and operational excellence standards.

Accountabilities

Process Analysis & Documentation

• Partner with business lines to document, map, and analyze current processes using standard tools
• Identify pain points and inefficiencies suitable for automation or AI-assisted enhancement.
• Maintain process inventories and performance metrics in alignment with governance and audit practices.

AI & Automation Enablement

• Support the design and rollout of AI-assisted workflows and productivity tools that enhance operational performance.
• Translate business needs into functional requirements for AI-enabled tools and automation platforms
• Collaborate with AI Platform and Data Engineering teams to validate data sources and automation logic.
• Assist with pilot deployments and post-implementation measurement of value (e.g., time saved, error reduction).

Reporting & Insights

• Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and efficiency scorecards to track automation adoption and impact.
• Support performance reporting on AI initiatives for leadership, using Power BI or equivalent tools.
• Perform ad-hoc data analysis and provide recommendations to improve business outcomes.

Governance & Risk Management

• Ensure all AI-related activities comply with internal risk, data privacy, and model governance standards in partnership with Risk and Compliance stakeholders.
• Contribute to the documentation of AI use cases, controls, and business approvals in alignment with Tangerine's model governance framework.
• Maintain accurate and auditable records in Confluence or central repositories.

Collaboration & Communication

• Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring mutual understanding of objectives, timelines, and risks.
• Support user communications, training, and change-management activities for AI-enabled process rollouts.
• Promote a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and ethical AI adoption.

Continuous Improvement

• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline reporting, automate recurring tasks, or enhance data reliability.
• Gather feedback from business teams to inform the AI Enablement roadmap.

Technical & Tools Proficiency

• Working knowledge of data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
• Familiarity with workflow automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate) or AI-enabled productivity tools.
• Understanding of cloud-based data environments (e.g., Google Cloud Platform or Azure) for analytics enablement.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent collaboration tools.
• Awareness of APIs, data integrations from a business-process perspective.
• Proficiency with SQL for analysis or validating process data (not development).

Skills
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

• University degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in business process analysis, business intelligence, or digital transformation.
• Hands-on experience with process mapping, workflow design, and requirements documentation.
• Familiarity with automation tools, AI assistants, or RPA solutions.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience using Power BI, Excel, or SQL for reporting.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) preferred.
• Awareness of data governance, risk management, and compliance requirements
