Business Analyst – Capital Markets:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Business Analyst – Capital Markets for a 3.5-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client's Toronto office.

Business Analyst – Capital Markets - Job Description:

As a member of the Counterparty Credit Risk technology team, the Business Analyst will be responsible for strategic projects that involve building new functionalities to monitor additional counterparty limits and enhancements related to PFE aggregation and monitoring. This role includes discussing new intake requests, documenting solutions, and participating in designing and developing strategic enhancements to the bank's Risk technology platforms.

Business Analyst – Capital Markets - Responsibilities:


• Work closely with business teams to capture business and technology requirements.


• Lead the intake process with stakeholders and technology teams.


• Generate business requirements and documents that align with policies.


• Collaborate with the delivery team to prioritize backlog and solution discovery.


• Design functional test cases and conduct testing independently.


• Provide technical solutions and contribute to code for smaller modules.


• Utilize strong communication skills in interactions with stakeholders and management.


• Exercise initiative and sound judgment in project plan execution.

Business Analyst – Capital Markets - Mandatory Skills:


• 8 years of Business analysis or relevant experience.


• 3+ years of Business analysis experience in technology-based projects within Capital markets.


• 3+ years of experience with test case design, integration testing, and regression testing.


• 3+ years of experience with SDLC.


• 2+ years of recent experience with Unix and SQL (Postgres).


• 2+ years of recent experience with Python.


• Proficiency with MS Office Tools (Advanced Excel) and applications.

Business Analyst – Capital Markets – Nice-to-Have Skills:


• Recent experience with Counterparty Credit Risk.


• Previous experience with projects related to input data changes or enhancements with data processing.

Business Analyst – Capital Markets – Assignment Length:

This is a contract position until April 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension.

ASAP.

Business Analyst – Capital Markets - Assignment Location:

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days onsite, with a potential increase to 4 days in the future.
