About the Role

We're looking for a versatile, innovative, and driven individual to join our team as Senior Analyst, Finance Solutions. In this role, you will support Finance process transformation and core finance systems enablement. You will partner closely with Finance Operations and IT to modernize and scale financial processes, streamline reporting through scalable automation and governed platforms, and drive a culture of continuous innovation and improvement within Finance. This role is accountable for delivering tangible improvements in efficiency, productivity, and decision support across Finance.

What You'll Do

  • Support end-to-end delivery and adoption of finance process re-engineering initiatives delivering improvements in efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct working sessions with Accounting, Finance Operations, and Technology teams to identify improvement opportunities and deliver prioritized initiatives.
  • Build and enhance scalable automation and governed analytics assets, including workflows, exception and variance reporting, KPI semantic models, and GenAI-enabled solutions.
  • Implement validation checks, monitoring, and documentation to ensure reliability and maintainability of automation and analytics solutions.
  • Produce delivery artifacts such as current-state and future-state process maps, requirements and acceptance criteria, control points, implementation plans, and post-launch hypercare checklists.
  • Support and enhance finance technology platforms including OneStream, Blackline, and Alteryx Server to enable timely close, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Establish and maintain operational documentation and governance, including SOPs, KPI definition sheets, training materials, and support models.
  • Provide ongoing support to process owners through clear governance frameworks, accessible tools, and responses to frequently asked questions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practices, data insights, and process guidance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Data Analysis, or a related field of study.
  • Five or more years of experience in finance process modernization, finance systems management, or data analysis within a finance function.
  • Hands-on experience with finance process mapping, re-engineering, automation, and KPI development.
  • Proficiency in financial data analysis and reporting using tools such as SQL, Python, Snowflake, or Power BI.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA qualification with knowledge of IFRS accounting principles.
  • Experience supporting or implementing OneStream, Blackline, or equivalent CPM platforms.
  • Proficiency in process automation tools such as Power Automate, Alteryx, or Generative AI solutions.
  • Experience working within governance frameworks, internal controls, SOX, or ICFR environments.

Location: Toronto

The hiring base salary range for this position is $76,300 to $104,900 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
