About This Opportunity
Reporting to the AVP of Finance, the Senior Financial Analyst, Finance is a role that will focus on being a critical finance partner to the Director of Acquisitions and support Corporate Finance. Their work will center around supporting the month end close, financial analysis, rolling forecasts and the development of budgets. This role provides operations with key insights to enable improved operating performance, and a "translator" of financial performance into operational priorities and KPIs by clinic.

As the Senior Financial Analyst, Finance you will help the company grow by supporting CBI Health's clinic planning, deliver deeper clinic business insight, and help drive clinic performance side by side with the operational leaders of the clinics.

Take an inside look at what you'll do each day

  • Establish strong relationships with Regional Leaders and the Director of Acquisitions; become their trusted advisor
  • Collaborating with corporate leaders and the AVP of Finance on Corporate Cost Centre reporting
  • Work with the existing FP&A team and Operations on improving current financial reporting, financial and operational scorecards
  • Measure the clinic performance against defined budgets, forecasts, and operational budgets
  • Deliver clear, concise, relevant and timely reporting on weekly or monthly basis, consistent with timelines required by the executive leadership team
  • Deliver the annual clinic budgets for acquisitions and periodic forecasts for that region
  • Working with operations to develop and present business cases related to capital or labour investment
  • Leverage data analytics and identify new EBITDA growth opportunities for clinics (Pricing, Occupancy, Utilization, Service Delivery Models "SDM". Recruitment opportunities)
  • Develop, champion, and recommend changes to processes and guidelines to meet strategic objectives and targets
  • Develop presentation materials for monthly and quarterly business reviews which are presented to executive leadership
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and undertake continuous improvement projects
  • Ensure SLA and productivity targets are consistently met and exceeded

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Proven success and experience in FP&A, reporting and KPI development with 2-4 years of experience in complex operating environments;
  • Intellectually curious with an ability to adapt; acquisitions are unique
  • Experience in leading and managing forecasting/budgeting/planning, management reporting, and financial analysis activities;
  • Degree in Business with relevant finance experience
  • CPA designation or CPA enrolled students are preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
