The Opportunity
As a member of our FinOps team, you will report directly to the Manager, People Operations and work closely with our Office and Events Manager. This role offers the opportunity to get hands-on experience across multiple areas of the business, with a primary focus on event coordination and office operations support.
As the Office and Events Intern, you'll help to deliver exceptional internal and external events, while also contributing to the day-to-day operations of our Halifax HQ. You'll collaborate closely with both the People Operations and Marketing teams to support seamless event execution and work alongside our Office and Events Manager to ensure our office is a welcoming, efficient, and vibrant space for all employees.
In this role, no two days will look the same. You'll take on a variety of tasks, pivot quickly between priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. If you're a highly organized, proactive team player who enjoys supporting multiple projects at once, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills.
This internship opportunity is a four (4) month internship from January to April 2026.
Responsibilities

- Provide communications support for events by acting as a point of contact for employee questions about event logistics and coordinating with vendors as needed.
- Handle general shipping support for office supplies and employee offboarding and onboarding.
- Support with Office Operations, including but not limited to coordinating lunches for 100+ people, ordering and stocking snacks in our office kitchen, and assisting the PeopleOps team with general in-office requests.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to time manage and juggle multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Willingness to learn new things and problem solve.
- Event experience or operations support is considered an asset.
