We are seeking a skilled and versatile Technician to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal operation of equipment across multiple industries. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely to complete repairs and assembly tasks
- Conduct welding and fabrication as needed for repairs or modifications
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems and industrial equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow manufacturer specifications and schematics to accurately diagnose problems
- Perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment safely during maintenance procedures
- Maintain detailed records of service work performed and parts used
- Assist with installation, assembly, and testing of new equipment or machinery
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with dealership vehicles or heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm equipment
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive repair, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and industrial equipment
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics for diagnostics and repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment efficiently
- Experience with maintenance or mechanic work in industrial or automotive settings is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with clients or team members
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant certifications or training in automotive repair, electrical systems, or heavy equipment operation are a plus
