Full-Time | 8am-6pm Monday - Saturday | $100-120k/yr

Job Description

24/7 Auto Group is seeking an experienced Automotive Shop Foreman to oversee branch-level shop operations. This role focuses on vehicle inspections, quality control, and technician supervision, not heavy mechanical repairs. The Shop Foreman ensures accurate diagnostics, safe repairs, and efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test drive all incoming vehicles to verify customer concerns
  • Test drive all completed vehicles to confirm repair quality and safety
  • Perform detailed vehicle inspections on the hoist
  • Identify mechanical issues including:
  • Abnormal noises and vibrations
  • Oil and fluid leaks
  • Suspension and steering wear
  • Brake pad and rotor life
  • Confirm required repairs, preventative maintenance, and correct parts
  • Supervise automotive technicians and apprentices
  • Review technician workmanship and eliminate comebacks
  • Communicate inspection results and repair status to management
  • Maintain shop safety, cleanliness, and productivity

Qualifications

  • 310S Automotive Service Technician License (preferred)
  • Experience as a Shop Foreman, or Dealership Flat Rate Technician
  • Strong inspection, diagnostic, and quality-control skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
