The Accounting Specialist
will be part of a team handling all financial and accounting aspects for the organization.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Work within a cross-functional team (accounting, finance, logistics, sales)
  • Maintain books and records of accounts
  • Analyze and prepare ledger reconciliations
  • Prepare accurate month-end, year end, and ad hoc financial reports
  • Other duties, as assigned

Requirements

  • College diploma in Accounting or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in an accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principals
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
  • Strong client service with an aptitude to build and maintain internal and external client relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsabilités:

  • Travailler à intérieur d'une équipe diversifier (comptabilité, Finance, Logistique, Ventes)
  • Tenir des livres et des registres de compte
  • Préparer les réconciliations des comptes
  • Préparer des rapports financiers de fin de mois et fin d'année
  • Exécuter les procédures de fin de mois
  • Classer les différents documents comptables et les factures.
  • Assister l'équipe de comptabilité lorsque les besoins se font ressentir.

Éducation & compétences:

  • Diplôme de niveau collégial (DEC) ou équivalent.
  • 2-5 années d'expérience dans un rôle de comptabilité
  • Expérience notable avec les programmes de Microsoft Excel
  • Excellentes capacités à communiquer verbalement et par écris
  • Capacité d'être organisée et avoir le souci du détail
  • Capacité à travailler de façon indépendante
