Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to join our growing team in Calgary. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient execution of abatement projects. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to safety, strong organizational skills, and a passion for leading teams in high-performance environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate on-site abatement activities, including asbestos, mould, biohazard, debris disposal, and selective demolition.
  • Lead daily hazard assessments, conduct toolbox meetings, and enforce company safety policies to foster a strong safety culture.
  • Organize site setup and workflow to meet project timelines and client expectations.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to crew members and temporary staff.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout each project.

Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory experience in construction, remediation, or hazardous material removal.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Effective problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • Comfortable using mobile apps and basic office software (e.g., email, document sharing).
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 70 lbs, moving materials, and standing for extended periods.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Alberta Asbestos Abatement Worker Certification
  • First Aid Certification
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
