This role ensures that projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and according to quality standards. The Assistant helps oversee workers, subcontractors, and suppliers, monitors progress, maintains site documentation, and ensures compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are essential, as the role involves daily collaboration with construction teams, project managers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Site Supervisor in planning, organizing, and monitoring daily site operations.
  • Help coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections.
  • Support enforcement of safety protocols and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including timesheets, reports, and materials tracking.
  • Communicate updates on project progress, delays, and issues to the Site Supervisor and project management team.
  • Assist with quality control checks to ensure work meets project specifications and standards.
  • Help resolve on-site issues and provide support to crew members as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience or education in construction, civil engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, safety practices, and site procedures.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, project management software, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
