Job Summary

We are seeking skilled and enthusiastic Bartenders to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional customer service while creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing the bar area, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Operate the POS system, including Toast POS, to process orders and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and offering recommendations.
  • Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service and adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol consumption.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling practices at all times.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to guests at the bar.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and food service practices.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanour and positive attitude.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques is essential.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
