Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. Your expertise in the food and beverage industry will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and responding to inquiries.
  • Operate the POS system efficiently for order entry and payment processing, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, including tracking supplies and restocking as necessary.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
  • Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and responsible serving practices.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred, with specific bartending experience being a plus.
  • Familiarity with Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
  • Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and ability to communicate effectively with guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing are required.
