Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while adhering to food safety and handling standards.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of liquor, garnishes, and glassware.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Operate the POS system efficiently for order entry and payment processing; experience with Micros POS is preferred.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
  • Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of food handling and preparation.
  • Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the restaurant or food industry is required; bartending experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink preparation calculations.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations related to food service.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
