Are you a skilled bartender with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? Frenchie by UNA, tucked away behind UNA takeaway on Calgary's vibrant 17th Avenue, is seeking an experienced bartender to join our dynamic team

Behind the curtain of UNA takeaway is a secret room serving thoughtfully curated wines, rare spirits, and unforgettable cocktails. The menu features Frenchie's classic fondue and UNA-inspired seasonal small plates.

Duties:

  • Craft and serve cocktails and beverages with precision
  • Provide excellent service and hospitality to ensure an outstanding experience
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area
  • Craft exceptional cocktails with consistency and style
  • Contribute to R&D for seasonal menus and features
  • Uphold Frenchie's standards for service, atmosphere, and guest experience
  • Bring creative ideas to the bar program

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience required
  • Previous experience as a food & beverage server is an asset
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
  • Brings creative initiative and is excited to collaborate on Frenchie's evolving beverage menu
  • Has an eye for detail, flavour balance, and presentation
  • Is confident leading a shift and supporting junior team members
  • Thrives in a small, tight-knit, hospitality-driven environment
  • While not a requirement, the successful candidate would have some social media experience
