The 'Receptionist and Administrative Assistant' role at CLI College in Calgary offers an exciting opportunity to be the welcoming face of our institution. You will support daily administrative operations, ensuring a smooth and professional environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned administrative tasks promptly and with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Responsible for being the first point of contact and liaison for CLI College. Greet visitors to the organization in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Campus Manager.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications, including Windows and Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and CRM software
  • Address phone inquiries accurately, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to work with a diverse client population.
  • Data entry and upkeep of the organization's databases, ensuring a high level of accuracy
  • Responsible for inventory control and office equipment maintenance coordination.
  • Assist with monitoring calendars, tracking deadlines, and compiling documentation as required.
  • Assist with photocopying, computer projects, researching, and troubleshooting as required.
  • Provide support to instructors and staff
  • Professionalism with a strong work ethic, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities is essential.
  • Demonstrate strong English, proficient verbal communication, and excellent listening skills.
  • Prepare, maintain, and audit student records and ensure that they meet regulatory requirements regularly.
  • Assist with students' onboarding.
  • Provide computer assistance to students as needed.
  • Maintain and record student attendance.
  • Prepare student admission packages and promotional materials.
  • Facilitate and arrange student practicum placements.
  • Work with students by assisting and updating student resumes.
  • Administration of admission exams to new students
  • Perform other related duties to promote the quality of the student experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
