Century 21 Property Management Professionals in Edmonton is recruiting a Residential Property Manager Team Lead to join their team.

This role will have the opportunity to guide and coach our team and work on all aspects of property management, including leasing, compliance, maintenance, tenant relations, and client relations.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice property management with the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA). Unlicensed candidates will not be considered. Please only apply for this role if you are licensed.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
  • Have a flexible schedule to meet the demands of the role, some evening and/or weekend work may be necessary

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a positive outlook.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate weekly team meetings

  • Hold accountable team members per company policies and processes

  • Create a positive working environment with a focus on coaching and leading

  • Handle showings, approve property ads and leases, manage lease renewals, and disperse security deposits

  • Conduct move in/move out and periodic inspections

  • Liaise with maintenance to ensure properties are ready for new tenants and inspect any work that is completed for quality assurance

  • Respond to tenant requests and inquiries, and handle emergencies

  • Provide excellent communication with clients regarding their properties

  • Manage delinquent accounts and process evictions

  • Other duties as required to fulfil the role

Typically, this role will be 50-75% in the office and 25-50% in the field.
