About the Opportunity
Zen Residential Ltd. is seeking a Property Accountant to support the financial operations of our growing portfolio. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and preparing timely reports to support property performance and compliance.

Manage day-to-day accounting for assigned residential propertiesProcess accounts payable and receivable accurately and on timePerform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger entriesPrepare financial statements and assist with budget preparationEnsure accuracy of tenant ledgers, vendor payments, and owner reportsCollaborate with Property Managers to resolve accounting discrepanciesMaintain property data and financial records in Yardi or similar systemsSupport audit preparation and compliance with internal controls and policiesRespond to financial inquiries from tenants, vendors, and internal teamsContribute to ongoing process improvement and reporting efficienciesWhat You Bring
2–4 years of accounting experience (property accounting preferred)Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, Buildium) is an assetStrong Microsoft Excel skills and financial reporting knowledgeExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and collaboration abilitiesAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentA proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvementReady to Find Your Zen?
